Friedbert Wall毕业于加拿大西蒙·弗雷泽大学 （Simon Fraser University），1991年加入微软，在微软公司的15年工作经历中，先后在Vancouver, Redmond等多个地区工作。 2005年8月，Friedbert移居中国上海，管理Windows Live 在上海的研发工作。 Windows Live中国在上海有200余名开发人员，从事包括Messenger, Search, Spaces, Member Experience, Hotmail等Windows Live全球产品的的研发工作。Friedbert Wall有多年的软件测试工作经验，在微软曾担任过测试经理, 测试总监等职务。
